Backstage Events, of Waterside Mill Macclesfield go from strength to strength in these difficult times. Having had a very successful first twelve months of trading, they now go into the New Year having expanded and taken on more space in Waterside Mill. As well as that, they have teamed up with experienced video editor Paul Tovee and can now offer in-house video production and editing services as well as complete conference production.

Stuart Brown, director says “We are all very excited about the coming year. We had a fantastic first 12 months and 2009 is looking even better. We have invested in improving our working environment and now have a facility to be proud of.  Having Paul on board is a great coup. I have worked with him on many projects over the years and admire his skill and attention to detail, his CV is impeccable, having worked for both the BBC and ITV as well as a host of blue chip clients producing in house VT for them. Now we can offer his skills along side that of our own and give our clients a full service option for their conference”

Backstage has secured a contract for a 10 date roadshow tour for a pharmaceutical giant as well as various large scale projects all taking place in the first 3 months of the year. They have also been appointed as preferred supplies for audio visual support for WorldEvent management and have been working hard with the WorldEvent team providing support to their portfolio of clients. Stuart adds “It’s fantastic to have been appointed by WorldEvent as a preferred supplier for audio visual support. They have been a successful agency for over 20 years and to be given the opportunity to work with their team on a wide range of events is fantastic for us.
